Brief Summary:
Within eight months of attending Crown ignite!, Rodney Edwards had taken the foundational materials and held initial Crown events in Monrovia, Liberia. On the first day they taught over 400 pastors, in which half of them stayed after the training to become trainers! The following day the “Business by the Book” seminar was held and 110 business people attended. Rodney and his team from Service to Servants not only wanted to teach this people, but desired to see Crown Financial Ministries started in Liberia. After the training, the Crown Liberia committee was formed to look for those to be on the Board, and eventually find a National Director so that an office may be established in that country. They have already held additional training sessions in Harbel and Firestone Plantation with over 60 pastors in attendance! One of the pastors from Firestone Plantation said that they were actively teaching the Crown material to all of their congregations. This is only the first of many additional trainings to happen in Liberia!
