    Brief Summary:
Northwest Foursquare Church of Federal Way WA has a long history of sending out both local and international missionary teams. The Kazakhstan mission team was set up at the request of Foursquare Pastor John Weed who started Joy Church in Almaty 13 years ago. Five businessmen from Northwest Church traveled to Kazakhstan in May of 2009 and presented the "Bible on Business" to business people and church staff in a 3 day conference. They also visited local businesses owned by church members and discussed biblical principles and prayed for the businesses and employees. The presentation was well received the hope is to do a follow up next year.

    Results:
    Approximately 40 people were taught.

    Best Practices:
They started preparing nine months in advance, meeting every other week for three hours to prepare for the conference. Teaching sessions were divided into two person teams. Each session scheduled in time for translation, and also for Questions & Answers at the end. They held the conference over two evenings (Thursday and Friday) and one Saturday. Personal testimonies were shared on how they had personally succeeded/failed in having Christ as Lord of their businesses. They took time to talk with the attendees during lunch, visit local businesses, and pray with them, really focusing on the person and that relationship.
